The Mother Teresa Memorial Social Welfare Trust Alpha English schools in Mumbai

TMTMSWT has established Alpha English schools at four different locations in Mumbai- The Ratnamahal Branch, Vallabh Branch, Kurla Branch, and The Vasinaka Branch. The Alpha English Schools have over 300 beneficiaries and over 30 teaching and non-teaching staff in each branch. The schools aim to educate children with all facilities including audiovisual learning. About 85-95% of the parents of these children currently have no jobs to support themselves coupled with the inability to provide three square meals a day for their children. The economic depression has affected over 90% of families living in the slums of Mumbai and as such we are in dire need of immediate assistance as TMTMSWT has little or no funds left to assist these families.

Objectives

• To educate children a formal studies according to their age in holistic way
• To create Training/education centre and health centre
• To establish library and reading rooms in Schools and society.
• To work for uplifting poor people for their overall development
• Provide scholarship/Financial help to poor people for their overall development
• To educate the people of the society to adopt good norms of a good citizenship and to inculcate into the people's mind, ideals of national unity.
• To publish newspaper, magazine, journals and to reproduce works of arts, literature, science, crafts and other allied works/collections of works of arts for instruction and imparting useful knowledge.
